As a small child, still in short trousers, I can remember, quite vividly, standing in front of my great aunt's antique grandfather clock, after running an errand for her, sucking on a stripey"bullseye" boiled sweet and being SO impressed and overawed by the magnificent antique clock that dominated the whole room. I distinctly remember saying to myself "when I'm grown up I'm having one of these clocks".

Visitors are welcome at our showrooms by appointment in a converted coach house, which was built in 1843 at the same time as the adjacent Old Rectory. A larger showroom was added in 1988 toaccommodate the tall London longcase clocks. Here you can examine a wide range of longcase clocks, grandfather clocks, bracket/table clocks, wall clocks, and barometers. We usually have several antique longcase clocks available that were made over 300 years ago.
Myriad Antiques and the Salisbury Stripping Company has been trading at Milford Street, Salisbury since 1994. The proprietor, Karen Montlake, has been an Antique Dealer since the early 1980s and has awide practical experience in antique furniture and restoration. Her husband, Stuart Hardy joined her in the business in 2000. They are both enthusiastic collectors both at home and for the shop and feel that antiques are a way of life and not just a business.
