We bought an oak pedestal desk recently. We are very happy with the desk and whole experience, especially the level of attention to detail. Chris brought a test sample of leather to our house for us to check the colour and borrowed an oak shelf so that the colour of the desk should fit. It did, perfectly. The desk is exactly what we wanted and we would recommend Elisabeth James Antiques to anyone.
Have just received beautiful Victorian dining table and sideboard Bought it from website pictures and the help of Chris who showed great patience and skill, matching colour from my photos. Delivered yesterday by two charming gentlemen who took great care and pride in putting it together and removing any fingerprints etc. It is more beautiful than I could have imagined and Chris has been incredibly helpful throughout. I will definitely be buying more pieces from him.
You and your team provided us with an absolutely beautiful small Victorian oak extender table, with bobbin turned legs, which you had stripped and then matched to the colour of our chairs. I was away when you delivered it and I cannot tell you how thrilled I was when I returned to find it in pride of place in our dining room. You have done such a great job on it and it is absolutely perfect. It is certainly something we will treasure for a long, long time. So a huge thank you.
