Gibilaro Design Ltd have a well-established reputation for superbly-made register grates and free-standing fire baskets. The fire grates that are made to commission, are designed and manufactured in London with the emphasis on outstanding and unrivalled build-quality. Established in London 20 years ago, the team is led by Jesse Gibilaro, a trained product design engineer.
Gibilaro Design source, restore and present a unique collection of fine period antique fire grates, hob grates, andirons and fire furniture. This collection takes influence from the architectural approach and philosophy of Robert Adam and brothers, the Carron Company, Philip Webb, Thomas Elsley, Thomas Jeckyll and many others. This year, 2015 is the centenary of the death of Philip Webb often referred to as the Father of the Arts & Crafts architectural Movement and co-founder of the SPAB (The Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings).
