It is situated on the High Street between Courthouse and Roebuck Street, accessible for vehicles through out the day. Open 6 days a week, Thursday-Tuesday, 11-6pm the shop is convenient for locals to arrange valuation or House Clearance arrangements by Sue Bower before trading hours, and open for Retail or browsing by customers returning from work. They are well known for the best collection of Chandeliers locally, rewiring, PAT testing them to pass Trading Standards regulations, replacing all missing parts and thoroughly hand cleaning till every crystal shimmers! Nelson House Antiques also specializes in Hand-stripped Oak and Pine Furniture. Contrary to frequent enquiry they know of no short-cuts to obtain our warm honey patina: Each item is carefully hand-stripped removing all handles and fittings first, and finish with a custom finish.
