Brown's Architectural Antiques was established in 1999 in Carhampton, Somerset and as the business expanded we relocated to Devon, opening a shop in Barnstaple in 2003. We recently moved to a largerpremises in South Molton in April 2014 with plenty of on site parking.
Jonathan Biggs is the fourth generation in the trade and specialises in fine eighteenth and nineteenth century furniture and paintings. I use traditional restoration methods and try to ensure that the furniture in my care is sympathetically restored. I have a large stock of old reclaimed timber and veneers, old handles, locks, castorsand hinges, so that exactly the right piece can be used for your repair.

1978, who traded for 20 years from his shop in Petersfield, Hampshire and regularly exhibited at the Olympia Fine Art & Antiques Fairs. In 2003 we decided to open a shop together in Topshamspecialising in decorative antique furniture and colourful contemporary art & accessories. A move to central Exeter in 2006 brought more space in a characterful Georgian town house, and a new emphasis on period furniture, coupled with a stronger presence at London & provincial fairs.
